Managing the airflow through an ExtendAir CO2 adsorbent cartridge is critical to its performance.  The canister must be designed to achieve uniform flow at the inlet side of the cartridge.  From there, the factory molded separation ribs in the material insure controlled flow past the adsorbent and keep pressure drop low and uniform. When designed and used properly, an ExtendAir compatible canister will perform very consistently regardless of who loads it.
